Terms of service

The agreement between you and Corporate Giving Hub: accounts, organizations, volunteer records, the partner API, and what each side promises.

Section 1

What Corporate Giving Hub is

Corporate Giving Hub is a platform for tracking volunteering and giving: individuals log hours and build a personal record of service; organizations run volunteer programs, review and approve hours, recognize volunteers, and report on impact.

Section 2

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you believe it’s been compromised. You must be at least 13. You’re responsible for what you log: volunteer records should be truthful, and organizations rely on them for recognition and reporting.

Section 3

Organizations and their admins

When you join an organization’s program, that organization’s admins manage the program’s records: they can approve or reject submitted hours, message you about submissions, assign roles, and include your activity in the organization’s reporting. If you leave an organization, your contributions remain part of its historical record; your personal account and its data stay yours.

Section 4

Acceptable use

  • No fabricated volunteer records or impersonation.
  • No attempts to access other users’ or organizations’ data.
  • No abuse of the platform’s messaging or invitation features.
  • Partner API keys are per-organization; keep them secret and rotate on suspicion.

Section 5

Certificates and recognition

Certificates, awards, and impact reports generated on the platform reflect the records in your organization’s program at the time of generation. They’re yours to share, but they aren’t a legal attestation by Corporate Giving Hub.

Section 6

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion follows the process in our privacy notice. We can suspend accounts or organizations that break these terms. A suspension appears as a notice where you would normally sign in rather than arriving as a message from us, so if you want to know the reason, email hello@corporategivinghub.com and ask.

Section 7

The usual limits

The service is provided as-is; to the maximum extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you’ve paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.

Section 8

Changes

Changes are published here, and the date at the top of this page moves whenever the text does. A meaningful change goes up at least 14 days before it takes effect. There is no policy mailing list, so this page is where a change is announced rather than your inbox.
